South Edmonton Insurance is currently looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and career driven insurance agent for a part time position. If you are looking for a career that will allow you to use your professional and positive nature, then this could be the one you've been waiting for.

Accountabilities:

  • Review renewal documents and endorsements for accuracy
  • Follow-up with clients and insurance companies for required information
  • Provide Customer service and advise clients on their personal insurance needs
  • Interact with Insurance companies and customers by phone and email
  • Process payments
  • Email documents to clients
  • Filing
  • Quote home & auto insurance renewals
  • Sales to new clients

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous experience working in an insurance brokerage is preferred
  • Currently hold a Level 1 general insurance license or higher
  • Prior experience with Wawanesa, Intact & Economical Insurance companies would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of Compuquote (Applied Rating Service) and Powerbroker would also be beneficial
  • Proficient in All Microsoft applications, Word, Outlook
  • A positive, outgoing and upbeat attitude with the ability to maintain a professional demeanor
  • Ability to work as part of a team
