Pourquoi ce role est-il important?

Role Mandate:
The LBL Technical Packaging department is a team of packaging professionals who support the business on packaging and printing issues to maintain LBL quality standards.

Accountabilities:
Complete the timely accurate collection, verification of packaging specifications for our control brands by working closely with our vendors and internal departments
Generate Paper Policy Report Quarterly
Provide Stewardship Report to Finance annually
Liaise with Production and Sourcing to complete Printer Transitions of existing artwork to Preferred Printers
Provide technical support and guidance during the product development process for all packaging formats and materials.
Maintain knowledge of current packaging innovations, trends and latest technology and share on an ongoing basis across all categories with the applicable product teams
Support existing policies as they relate to packaging and ensure compliance
Conduct training sessions related to packaging and sustainability for all new LBL employees together with the LBL Sustainability Team.
Follow up with vendors and printers to complete and verify information and resolve issues to keep projects moving and avoid delays to market.

Role Requirements:
Post-Secondary Education (related to Packaging)
Experience with all packaging formats, materials as well as print and manufacturing processes
knowledge of packaging development process, end of life options and the packaging industry.
Collaborative team player, who builds relationships easily across various stakeholder groups to move initiatives forward.
Excellent communication skills (Verbal & Written)
Superior knowledge of all MS Applications
Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
Proven time management and analytical approach to problem solving and decision-making.
Manage the timely completion of print specifications and the collection of accurate dielines by control brand vendors using the online web portal for all control brand packaging projects, approximately 300-600 sku’s are with the packaging team at any given time.
Ability to work with little supervision
Team player, one who is both collaborative with peers and management, and easily displays initiative to ensure projects stay on track
Highly organized, able to prioritize effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong work ethic and detail oriented
Efficient and able to multi-tasking well
Proprietary tools: Develop competencies on a high level with LBL reporting tools, including: Artwork and Specification database (FMP), Vendor Web, SAP integration, and Blue

Performance Measures:
Deliver on all packaging objectives as set out by the business
Assist LBL with packaging related inquires
Timely facilitation of all specifications completion and dieline submissions
Accuracy and completeness of control brand data gathered
Peer feedback on ability to collaborate, resolve problems, and add value
Ability to assist LBL with packaging related inquiries and problem resolution
Support the LBL Packaging Department
