Reporting to the CEO, the Vice-President, Marketing is a senior leader whose primary mandate is to grow the business through strategic marketing initiatives. The Vice-President, Marketing will develop and execute the company’s marketing strategy in order to drive website traffic and increase revenue. This includes the development of an integrated marketing plan across online channels including search, social, mobile, media and messaging to connect prospective customers to the brand, ensuring that any and all marketing efforts support the company’s short and long-term goals.
As an executive on the Leadership Team, you work collaboratively to lead and manage the existing Marketing team
Develop annual marketing strategies and associated execution plans that align to Voices.com corporate strategy and objectives
Supports a culture of accountability by setting the proper metrics and tying company performance, compensation and promotions to tangible results
Define and direct marketing programs for brand awareness, demand creation, lead generation, and interface with Vice-President, Client Sales for lead tracking and management
With the support of your Marketing Managers you will manage corporate communications and act as Voices.com liaison between the company, press and analysts and at industry events
Effectively resolve efficiency issues across the marketing/sales and customer success functions
Manage marketing budget and expenditures
Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels
Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counter-strategies
Participate and lead portions of board meeting updates
Effectively leverage the company’s brand across all social media fronts with a focus on developing a social media presence that drives traffic to our website
Lead the marketing team and collaborate closely with the Sales, Product & Customer Success teams
Builds trust and effective relationships with peers on the leadership team and throughout the company

Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets, Powerpoint or Google Presentations
Proficient in producing and delivering effective presentations for various audiences ranging from entry level employees to the Board of Directors

Required Education and Experience
Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent education and / or related experience. MBA or Business Related Advanced Degree preferred
A minimum of 10 years professional hands-on experience developing and executing marketing concepts, strategy, and product services or product management; prior experience in advertising, media and/or subscription-based business a plus
A minimum of 5 years proven managerial or supervisory experience
Proven experience building marketing capabilities including: product, field, and digital marketing competencies product services
Proven experience influencing a business or marketing strategy through the application and/or management of product service solutions
