Reporting to the VP, Business Development, the Inside Sales Representative develops long-term, trusting relationships with our customers with the goal to develop business from existing and new clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. This position will liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience. The key area of focus for this role will be to grow Aurum's business within multiple industries, including but not limited to, residential and commercial.

Responsibilities

Take the lead on establishing, developing, and maintaining positive customer relationships
Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
Present, promote, and sell Aurum's services using hard facts and persuasion to existing and prospective customers
Follow up with customers
Coordinate sales of $3,000 or less
Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
Build positive sustainable client relationships by consistently delivering the wow factor to our customers
Route inbound calls for large sales to appropriate sales executives
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
Expedite the resolution of customer concerns and provide solutions and/or alternatives
Coordinate sales plans with operations and scheduling departments to ensure availability
Keep records of customers' conversations in our CRM
Analyze the territory/market's potential and track using our CRM
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Degree or diploma considered an asset
Minimum 2 years experience in a customer service/support role
Experience in a call centre preferred
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively
Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
Strong prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
Efficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Ability to learn new software, such as Salesforce
