Fairstone is looking for an experienced, creative and passionate graphic designer to join our marketing team. The successful candidate will lead design strategy and create print and digital marketing materials targeting consumer, business-to-business and internal audiences and to contribute to the growth of our consumer lending division and retail and automobile financing divisions.

Responsibilities :
Lead creative conceptualization of marketing content that will resonate with consumer, business-to-business and internal audiences
Collaborate with digital, social, direct marketing, email, etc. channels to execute marketing programs
Design and manage production of print materials including merchandising and sales materials, etc.
Design and direct production of digital materials including GIFs, carousel ads, display ads, animations, web pages, emails, etc.
Design and produce professional presentations using PowerPoint
Manage preparation of art files for print vendors
Manage preparation of art files for web with SEO considerations
Direct development of AODA-compliant documents
Proofreading and quality assurance
Maintain brand standards ensuring consistent use of name, logo and brand attributes
Research and leverage emerging trends in design and technology

The minimum qualifications for this position are:
5+ years of work experience in creative design of marketing materials
Bachelor degree/diploma in graphic design or similar
Experience in campaign development and tactical execution
High degree of proficiency with PC platform and tools: Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office suite
Proficiency in design for digital platforms
Video production and editing skills an asset
Knowledge of traditional print practices including layout, typography and colour
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills with all levels of employees and management
