The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for the providing of oxygen therapy, cardio/respiratory
equipment monitoring and the assessment and treatment of cardio/respiratory and associated disorders to maintain
or restore ventilation and for diagnostic procedures related to these techniques.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program and have a current license with the College of
Respiratory Therapists of Ontario (CRTO).
- Demonstrate and maintain a high standard of patient care.
- Cooperative, reliable, and well organized with a positive professional attitude.
- Self directive and have an assertive, proactive approach towards supporting, initiating, and implementing
departmental policies and procedures.
