With the rapid adoption of privacy laws around the World, privacy is both increasingly important and complex to manage. At Nymity, our mission is to support the privacy function. Nymity works with large enterprises to help them manage the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), the CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act) and the World’s privacy requirements.
As a Business Development Representative, you are responsible for driving demand for Nymity products by booking qualified solution demos. This is an outbound business development role on the Marketing team in our Toronto office and reports to the Director of Digital Demand Generation. You will work with an outstanding team of colleagues throughout the company. This role is critical to building the sales funnel and enabling the company to hit our pipeline and revenue goals.
You are a self-starter who owns your targets. Your instinct is to pick up the phone first, not send an email. You are results oriented and constantly looking to improve your metrics. You are a strong communicator and represent the brand professionally at all times.
Outbound calling of Nymity prospects (target 50 dials / emails per day)
Qualifying demos for fit with Nymity (e.g. Budget/Authority/Need/Timeline)
Scheduling solutions demos with Account Executives
Ensuring all meetings are confirmed by the prospect
Providing regular reports to Sales and Marketing leaders on progress to targets
2 years of experience in a sales or business development role
Skilled with marketing automation tools such as HubSpot and Google Analytics
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be a team player
Technology experience a plus
