Nella Toronto is looking to hire a motivated and experienced E-Commerce manager to lead their North York E-Commerce team!


  • Responsible for the entirety of the onsite experience, ensuring all promotions, products and content is added to the site when require
  • Lead analytics effort to understand site and user behavior to identify opportunities to improve the experience
  • Lead SEO efforts, including engagement with SEO/SEM teams, to incorporate best practices into our site experience and drive organic traffic to the site
  • Drive E-Commerce marketing strategy, tactical planning, promotional calendar, creative project timelines and content creation and deployment across key channels
  • Channels include: email, search, social as well as internal channels
  • Monitor and report progress of online marketing efforts, sharing actionable insights and recommendations
  • Responsible for overall management of our marketplace business
  • Work cross-functionally with the technology team to communicate issues and request feature enhancements
  • Monitor the marketplace and competitive set for trends and new ideas related to the on-site experience
  • Manage all day-to-day e-commerce operations including the P&L of the e-commerce structure
  • Comfortable working within popular e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, and have used techniques such as A/B testing to help drive revenue
  • Strategize and leverage digital content to drive increased traffic
  • Analyze data, trends and key consumer behaviors and make fact-based recommendations
  • Stay up to date on e-commerce new tools and best practices for online growth opportunities
  • Manage all aspects of e-commerce store and update and fulfill sales in Shopify
  • Ensure successful execution of marketing strategies and online partnerships and promotions
  • Provide recommendations and support on Content Marketing Strategy
  • Optimize program costs and operation to maximize efficiency
  • Evaluate and advise on the use of new technologies, bench-marking trends and competitor data to stay at the forefront


  • Post-secondary graduate; or equivalent education/experience
  • Minimum four years’ e-commerce experience, including order fulfillment
  • Previous people manager experience
  • Team builder and motivator; ability to lead change
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver projects on time, within a given budget
  • Solid understanding of retail math metrics, strong analytical skills; strong knowledge of MS Excel, Google Analytics and other internal tools
  • Result orientated leader with aptitude to implement change
  • Exhibit high level of creativity and innovation, with sound business sense
  • Energetic with a positive attitude and outstanding customer service skills
  • Expert understanding of current market trends in e-commerce
  • Analyze numbers to create and implement action plans
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, physically demanding environment
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Proven experience leveraging a consumer brand to generate rapid online growth
  • Proven capabilities of developing a successful marketplace selling strategy
  • Management of broad projects both independently and collaboratively.
  • Comfortable being both a strategist and a tactician.
