Job Description :As a team member, you will be required to:
Prepare lists and bills of materials in accordance with codes, standards, drawings and other established methods while complying with the firm’s quality system requirements
Take part in drafting proposals.
Perform detailed calculations.
Prepare plans and specifications based on guidelines for mechanical mandates.
Help draft technical reports.
Assume the role of project leader.
Occasionally coordinate the work of drafters or other non-professionals at the request of a senior engineer.
Perform routine inspections or technical surveys.
Participate in onsite technical audits.
Help supervise work and commissioning of designed systems.
Provide assistance to more experienced personnel for the technical aspects of complex tasks.
Applies the firm’s health and safety policy and takes the necessary preventive or corrective measures to perform the work safely; becomes familiar with the firm’s prevention program; and applies specific job directives.

University degree in Mechanical Engineering and member in good standing of the OIQ
From 3 to 5 years of experience
Experience in the heavy industry sector, petrochemicals, energy, process mechanics, etc.
Available to travel occasionally to and from various BBA offices
Available for short-term assignments (mandatory up to 25% of the time) and long-term assignments (asset) to client sites
Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite, other applications, databases and interfaces
Knowledge of SolidWorks, Revit, SmartPlant 3D, CADWorx, ANSYS, AutoCAD, Fluent
Asset: Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in Mechanical Engineering
Asset: ASP Construction card
Asset: Bilingual (English, French).
