The Senior Director, Functional Lead, Reimagine HR, is responsible for leading the overall design of the holistic solution within Workday, including configuration, workflow, and business solution design. The Lead is accountable for preparing and collaborating with all Global Process Owners (GPOs), local resources and functional teams to ensure all localizations are acknowledged- and the Reimagine HR (RHR) operating model and change team to prepare HR and the business for the future solution.
What will you do?
Collaborates with Deloitte Functional Lead on foundational components of solution, including design principles, job/position management decisions, and identifying key gap areas
Provides overall program advice/counsel to the Vice President, RHR (Program Executive) to ensure end-state solution meets business objectives
Collaborates with Change Management team on program vision, communication strategy, and plan
Aligns country and business unit perspectives in support of the solution through design, issue resolution, and testing
Delivers a leading, efficient solution across people, process and technology that meets business requirements
Signs off on business process taxonomy in collaboration with Process Lead
Reviews overall design for completeness and confirms integration across all RBC functional and business areas
Manages day to day team activities, including any escalated issues and risks
Liaises with other stakeholders and leads to ensure alignment and integration
What do you need to succeed?
8+ years of experience and functional knowledge of current HCM solution; workday experience an asset
Global insight and relationships across RBC, including a strong understanding of regional dynamics, and legal/regulatory environment
Broad understanding of HR functional, policy and technology landscape
Proven leadership capabilities; strong collaboration and ability to stakeholder at all levels
Attentive to details and deadlines; ability to manage multiple initiatives
Strong team player with a proven track record of delivering positive outcomes to support client, partner and enterprise success
Exceptional ability to lead through influence vs. direct control - Proven capability in developing relationships and networks across organizations and at all levels
Ability to understand and identify interdependencies between system, process, and people for RBC
Exceptional decision-making abilities and ability to influence key stakeholders
Nice to Haves:
Experience working with Agile Teams and Design-Thinking is highly desirable
