Job Description
This specific role will allow you to leverage your analytical skills to identify problems, issues and trends to help us improve our application development process. You will work hands on with our application development teams to ensure we are producing high quality changes that meet business requirements and enables a more stable production environment. You will be actively involved in root cause analysis that dives into the heart of our development process to identify efficiencies and create an effective feedback loop that will drive our business.

What You’ll Do:
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Filter and “clean” data by reviewing technical reports, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
Use data to locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Helping develop reports and analysis
Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements
Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization

What You’ll Need:
Data analysis and visualization tools
Data modelling processes, analysis and cause and effect relations
Scripting knowledge Python, MatLab etc would be an asset
Relational databases (i.e. SQL, mySQL)
Data conversions, data mining and issue debugging
Machine learning techniques and predictive modelling techniques is preferred
Data transformation, establishing thorough documentation and building controls
AI and Automation tools is nice to have
Analytical & Problem solving
Strong communication
Quick learner
Excellent team player
