Job Description

We are looking for a Business Development Associate to expand our market coverage and boost our sales pipeline. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns, building your own prospects lists, and meeting key success metrics. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with potential customers, from the first contact until you qualify a sales opportunity. Responsibilities

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Proactively seek new sales opportunities in the market
  • Identify prospect needs and understand their business drivers
  • Present our solution to prospects following a high-touch, high-value selling approach
  • Set up calls, meetings, or demos between potential clients and Account Executives
  • Report to the Director of Business Development on daily/weekly/monthly sales results
  • Stay up-to-date with HR news, trends, technologies, and related topics

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Representative, Account Executive, or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Track record of meeting targets and achieving sales quotas
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) is a plus
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
  • Experience selling to HRTech is a plus
