Internally this role is known as Chef.
The Village at University Gates in Waterloo is embarking on a journey of growth and transformation with the addition of a Phase 2 retirement to our village. This expansion will offer a range of exciting growth and development opportunities for team members.
As we move closer to our target opening date in summer 2020, and with the uncertainty around Covid-19 and how that may impact our Residents and Team Members, Schlegel Villages is drawing on our core values to ensure we continue to achieve our mission of providing optimal health and life purpose for each and every one of our residents during any crisis that is to come.
You can be you while being a part of our family.
At Schlegel Villages we are redefining elder care through innovation, Village design and culture change, but we know the key to our Village success, and our residents’ satisfaction, is YOU and our teams.
We aspire to provide all members of our communities, including team members, with a life enriching experience. We are family owned and operated and we take our mission seriously: “to provide holistic health care in a home environment, located within an internal neighbourhood design that promotes a caring community with emphasis on optimal health and life purpose for each resident”.
We’d love to talk to you about what makes us different.
