POSITION OVERVIEW:As a Landscape Technician at TruGreen, you will be:
Servicing our customers’ properties by making timely applications of fertilizer and weed control
Diagnosing problems on lawns to provide solutions
Sell/up-sell services to new and/or existing customers
No previous experience in lawn care is required but is considered an asset. This seasonal job is extremely rewarding and physically demanding.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive company vehicle to assigned customer locations
Apply fertilizer and herbicide to lawns according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions
Recommend and sell additional services to existing customers based on the need of their landscape
Uphold TruGreen Customer Service Standards of Excellence
Address concerns, complaints and any questions customers have in a timely and professional manner
Accurately follow any customer instructions while performing services
Complete end of day reports, sales forms, customer invoices, daily vehicle inspection reports
Maintain vehicle and equipment through cleanliness, safety, and general maintenance
HOURS AND WAGE:
Earn $1050+ per week based on a 50-hour week (Starting at $17/hour PLUS weekly performance and sales bonuses)
Work schedule is 10 hours per day Monday to Friday (6:30AM to 5:00PM) plus Saturdays as needed
Must be physically fit, able to lift upwards of 50 pounds and walk/stand for long durations of time
Driver’s License with 3 years of driving experience and a clean driving record (upon hire must provide a current driver's abstract)
Excellent communication skills
Strong customer service and relationship building skills
Quick-thinking, problem solving attitude
Sales background is an asset but is not required
Criminal background check is mandatory prior to hire
