We WILL provide training in all aspects of the medical equipment field but the candidate MUST have the required skillset

to perform the neccessary duties.

Duties:

In store sales and customer service of braces, walkers, wheelchairs, and other medical equipment

Troubleshooting and/or problem solving of equipment issues in store, in facilities and in client homes

Weekly travel within the Kootenays (store vehicle provided)

Installation/delivery/set-up and sales of all types of medical equipment: for example: grab bars, bathroom safety equipment, stair lifts, wheelchair lifts etc.

Working closely with other health care professionals to determine & provide the appropriate home health equipment.

Computer ordering and invoicing

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Good verbal communication skills

The ability to work patiently with seniors and persons with disabilities

Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and carpentry.

Comfortable with using technology

Clean driving record

Ability to lift and carry over 75lbs

Training specific to the job will be provided.

Previous experience is any aspect of healthcare would be an asset.

Store hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm no evenings or weekends.

Salary: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
