The Office Administrator performs a variety of administrative duties in support of managerial employees. They are also responsible for preparing reports and graphs for presentation. Data Entry Clerks input coded, statistical, and other information into computerized databases, spreadsheets or other templates of an importance into a computer.

Main Duties

Data Entry Clerks perform the following duties:

  • Basic Office Duties such as Answering the Phone, Copying, Filing, etc.
  • Enter, sort, package, and manage Locates for the jobsite.
  • Edit, organize, sum, and input information of an importance.
  • Develop and enter data on spreadsheets.
  • Import and/or export data between different kinds of software.
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Prepare Reports.

Working Conditions: Work Weeks are based on Office Hours. Workweeks are 5 days, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.

Employment requirements

  • Basic Office Experience is an asset.
  • Completion of Secondary School is required.
  • Experience with computers and Microsoft Office is required.
  • Knowledge of drafting software is an asset.
