Marketing Representative - Demand Generation

(1-year Contract – Maternity Leave)

The Marketing Representative – Demand Generation maintains the primary responsibility for supporting the marketing, advertising and public relations duties for Robertson Building Systems, Ceco and Garco, part of the Cornerstone Buildings Brands Family. The Marketing Representative is responsible for ensuring the alignment of strong and effective marketing initiatives with the channel's over-arching business strategy. As a member of the Cornerstone Brands marketing team, this position ensures that all marketing and communications strategies and tactics drive the desired business outcomes.

The Marketing Representative is responsible for executing all marketing activities delegated to them by the Regional Sales Manager of Robertson Building Systems and the Director of Marketing, Cornerstone Buildings Brands.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports aspects of sales enablement, customer experience, customer management and support, budget management, market research and marketing performance
  • Acts as subject matter expert in demand generation leveraging platforms such as marketing automation, web platforms, CRM, search engine marketing, social media and online/digital best practices
  • Executes campaigns supporting content marketing and promotions for all brands
  • Develops lead nurturing programs to increase funnel conversion rate
  • Manage budgets and forecasts for assigned brands and achieves budgeted goals set by management
  • Acts as an advisor to sales leadership in framing business issues and determining marketing needs and recommend solutions
  • Direct third-party vendors to ensure campaign execution is consistent and meets business strategy objectives
  • Works closely with Content Lead and Product Management (PM) to develop demand generation strategies and optimize marketing performance outcomes
  • Advise on best media and distribution channels in partnership with Content Strategy leaders
  • Deeply understands customer personas and buying journeys to optimize touchpoints and conversions
  • Ensure best practices for customer data management and demand generation are implemented and executed
  • Regularly monitors and reports progress of lead acquisition and qualification
  • Supports customer education efforts, including but not limited to course and learner management
  • Support ongoing customer and internal communications efforts
  • Design, implements and maintains customer programs as needed
  • Track project status in PM tools
  • Provides support or advice as needed in all other marketing areas that support the customer or business including branding, advertising, media, collateral, events, literature, technology management, and digital
  • Ensures all marketing investments are aligned to the over-arching business strategy and sales objectives
  • Works with Product Management, Content and Demand Generation counterparts to develop and execute marketing strategies
  • Assists in the coordination and collection of Builder photos and media, as well as the selection and distribution of Builder awards
  • Manages printing and fulfillment vendor relationships and facilitates the distribution of samples,literature and promotional inventory for assigned brands
  • Ensures strategic alignment with business objectives in the execution of marketing campaigns, trade shows and special events as needed
  • Assisting with other projects supporting the sales team and Builders as needed for assigned brands

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field
  • 2 – 5 years of experience in marketing communications, lead generation or digital marketing
  • Well versed in CRM and marketing automation platforms, MS Dynamics a plus
  • Exposure to paid search campaigns and search engine optimization
  • Experience with analytics tools, marketing performance reports and Excel
  • Displays a technical acumen and can pick up new tools quickly
  • Ability to structure campaigns to maximize customer exposure and generate leads
  • Demonstrated project management skills and proven ability to deliver results in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Exhibits the ability to switch from the creative side of marketing to analytical side; able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound
  • Ability to work well and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels of an organization
