Marathon’s E-Commerce business is growing rapidly. The E-Commerce Manager role will be responsible for running the E-Commerce business. Responsibilities will include driving E-Commerce revenue through the implementation and optimization of marketing programs. We are looking for a highly analytical professional with a proven track record of running Amazon B2B and B2C, and other E-Commerce businesses.

This team member will develop and execute innovative marketing plans to educate customers on our E-commerce offering, drive awareness and traffic to multiple E-commerce channels, and increase engagement and sales for our digital businesses and experiences. Strong digital media knowledge, up-to-date with UX strategy, SEO practice and storytelling experience, the E-Commerce Manager will manage multiple projects simultaneously while keeping our customer experience top of mind.


  • Analyze web data, business performance metrics, and other data sources to drive Ecommerce strategy, traffic, and conversions;
  • Identify new opportunities to improve the web site experience, and analyze & quantify the ROI of site improvement;
  • Continuously identify new opportunities for Marathon to acquire new customers online
  • Be the in-house expert on E-Commerce marketing best practices;
  • Provide regular reporting on campaign metrics and content performance to upper management
  • Stay up to date on current industry news and digital marketing trends;
  • Prioritize and manage projects to timelines, budgets and resources;
  • Support site search optimization, external search engine optimization, and paid search marketing;
  • Ensure all E-commerce channels are consistently optimized to foster growth;
  • Manage all digital assets including but not limited to product information/descriptions, product images, banners, marketing copy etc.;
  • Identify and present opportunities for growth into new marketplaces, vendors, and/or retail (e-tail) opportunities;


  • Strong working knowledge of Amazon’s Seller Central
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5 years of experience in an analytics and sales focused role within E-Commerce;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong experience in a leadership role and collaborating cross-functionally;
  • Desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment;
  • Strong ability to manage customer relationships (Phone/Email)
  • Proven track record of increasing website traffic, conversion rates and sales;
  • Experience developing and executing integrated E-Commerce marketing campaigns
  • Excellent at analyzing data and managing ROI for positive results;
  • Strong Knowledge of SEO
  • Strong skills and knowledge of Google Analytics & Shopify;
  • Ability to clearly deliver insights and findings to multiple audiences and levels
  • Sharp analytical, strategic thinking, and strong decision-making skills
  • Advanced computer and web knowledge;
  • Highly adaptable, thrives in a fast-paced environment and a quick learner;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, balancing multiple priorities and delivering on tight deadlines.
