This position requires experience in following recipes, using a mixer, vacuum stuffing machine, vacuum tumbler, injector, bowl chopper and smoke houses. A knowledge of food safety and an understanding of the processes of curing and cooking meat is required. We are looking for someone who can lead a crew of themselves and two other employees to accomplish the daily tasks assigned by the production manager. This person would be required to attend team leader meetings held as needed and to work well in a team setting. This position would involve a five day work week, Monday to Saturday, with a rotating day off. The work day would start at 7:00 am and finish approximately 3:30 pm.

We have always had a very strict policy on not coming to work if you are not well, as well as hand washing and proper hygiene in the work place. We attempt to physical distance as much as possible in the work place, masks and face shields are available.
