SC360 is a subsidiary of Telecon, they are specializing in residential installation, business connectivity, managed service provider (MSP) connectivity services and installation and maintenance of network infrastructure. SC360 has over a dozen locations throughout Canada, with an increased presence in Québec and Ontario. We are looking to fill 10 positions of Structured cabling technician for Ottawa.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Diagnose and/or correct all technical problems the satisfaction of the customer and in accordance with company specifications.
Ensure that communication with customers, other departments and peers is done in a professional manner.
Maintain strong customer relations through daily contact with customers.
Install new services, extra outlets and equipment in domestic dwellings, apartments and commercial buildings.
Complete installation work (e.g., rewires, drop replacements).
Complete accurate documentation pertaining to installations, service and sales activity.
Assist Managers in reducing departmental costs through efficiencies and improved productivity.
Learn and adhere to all applicable Health & Safety regulations, both legislatively mandated, and as outlined in company policy.
REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience
  • Diploma in cabling/telecommunication a strong asset, High school diploma a minimum
  • History working with Fiber optics an asset
  • Good physical ability
  • Health and Safety oriented
  • Good computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Available for traveling (on a regular basis)
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently or in a team
