As the Planner and Analyst – Touring Shows, you will serve as the foundation of the financial plan for the TSD and Ecommerce division by developing, analyzing and influencing the assortment plans, retail price points and inventory levels.

You will be known to:
  • Collaborate with department senior management in the creation of sales and inventory budgets by show/market, for Touring show division and Ecommerce;
  • Determine accurate forecasts for promotional sales, one-time buys and new items forecasting;
  • Review product performance, gross margins and associated inventory levels and provide recommenda-tions to senior management on action steps;
  • Immediate identification and communication of all risks to all components of the budget (Margin, per head, high/low inventory levels);
  • Track KPI’s on a daily/weekly/monthly basis (Per head, conversion, average sale);
  • Utilize CDS Marketing activities as an avenue to join forces and help convert initiatives into sales;
  • Serve as key stakeholder in all facets of inventory management;
  • Assist in preparation and reporting of monthly and annual budgets;
  • Create a distribution plan based on show/market type and collaborate with buying team and logistics for timely execution;
  • Work closely with the warehouse manager to identify risks and opportunities for ecommerce business;
  • Establish procedures and process involving customer service, shipping and website maintenance;
  • Serve as key liaison for accounting, IT and logistics;
  • Other financial and analytical duties as assigned.
We would like to meet you if you have:
  • 5-7 years of retail sales and inventory planning, preferably in an entertainment retail environment;
  • Working knowledge of all retail KPI’s;
  • A bachelor’s degree in business management, with an emphasis on sales and trend forecasting;
  • Knowledge of SAP and Digital Marketing a plus;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Basic cost accounting knowledge;
  • Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills;
  • The ability to work in a team environment and to communicate with many levels within an organization;
  • Exceptional organizational skills;
  • The ability to influence and make unbiased and decisions based on business reality;
  • The ability to work independently;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Illustrator, AdobePro, etc.;
  • Availability to travel as needed.
