Evening Emergency hours and weekend care is provided through the general practice staffed with 7 full-time veterinarians. Our facility is also fully equipped with advanced imaging modalities including CT, and ultrasound. VCA Canada Tri Lake Animal Hospital & Referral Centre is seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Specialist or Resident Trained (Board eligible) to join our team of highly engaged veterinary professionals.
As a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Specialist, you are known to be highly dedicated to providing the best medical evaluation and are thorough in your diagnostic abilities. Additionally, your success comes from your ability to connect with your collaborative team and support staff. Above all, you provide excellent patient care.
Our Hospital offers an exciting and energizing work environment with complex and varied caseloads where teamwork and high-quality care is paramount. This is a great time to join our Internal Medicine service as we are expanding due to our high standards and compassionate care. This role will have you involved with interesting cases that will hone your current knowledge and even provide you with further learning. You will be surrounded by complimentary professionals that include; board-certified surgeon, rehabilitation and pain management practitioner, and dermatologist.
Key attributes and responsibilities are:
Completed an Internal Medicine Residency and is Board-certified or Resident Trained (Board eligible)
Efficient case evaluation and thorough diagnostic abilities
Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices
Collaborative and thoughtful communication style
Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues, pet parents and community
Exceptional coaching and mentoring capabilities for our staff
