Job Responsibilities:
Operates controls to start, stop, and regulate equipment such as feeders, conveyors, AG mills, burners, fans, slurry and water pumps, vacuum exhausters, blowers, compressors, filters, gates, magnetic separation equipment, screens, etc.
Controls grinding and classification, and process operations by either automatic or manual control; observes recorders, gauges, ammeters, annunciators, indicators, charts, etc.; interprets indications and adjusts control within specified limits to give optimum tonnage while maintaining liberation and heat requirements.
Notices irregularities and takes corrective action such as stopping or starting feeders, conveyors, and other related equipment, adjusting controllers, directing attendants as required, and notifies supervision.
Maintains feed rate to spirals and cones, flow to the magnetic plant and ore distribution to surge bin, provides flow to train silos and stockpile as required.
Compiles and prepares required reports and charts; relays information and messages and initiates emergency procedures.
Performs floor duties as required.
Keeps working area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
Notes and reports defects in tools and equipment to supervision.
Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:
Working knowledge of processing operations including Concentrator operations, safety, maintenance, equipment, and staff utilization.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable with a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with an ability to work with limited supervision.
Excellent work ethic and attendance record.
Able to work 12-hour shifts, 4 on, 4 off (days and nights).
