The Whitehorse Star is a 100 per cent locally owned and operated independent newspaper with full-time positions open for multiple journalists.
Although predominantly required for the political beat, we are seeking well-rounded team players, ideally interested in a variety of beats including crime, social issues, environment, sports, and community events.
The successful applicants are expected to produce daily content for both print and digital editions.
Qualifications
- Experience with The Canadian Press style guide and work in a Mac environment is a must; experience with social media platforms is an asset.
