A long term dealership is seeking an experienced Body Shop Manager or experienced Assistant Body Shop Manager looking to transition to the lead role. The qualified candidate will be self motivated, driven to succeed and is capable of handing all the required responsibilities associated with managing a Body Shop.
Applicants should possess knowledge of how to estimate through both the Mitchell and Audatex systems, how to upload properly to each individual insurance company and how to properly finalize bills and process invoices for payment from each of the individual insurance companies. The ideal candidate will already be familiar with individual insurance company requirements related to estimating, obtaining approvals and processing claims. Developing and maintaining relationships with insurance partners is a key responsibility in this role.
Applicants should also possess the skills and knowledge to manage the day to day operations including but not limited to expense management, equipment management, recruiting, hiring, training and sustaining a team of peak performers with a focus of delivering superior customer service, quality, high productivity levels and profitability.
Applicants should also understand that as a dealership, the Body Shop Manager is also responsible for maintaining strong relationships and delivering on the needs of internal departments such as the New & Used Car operations that rely on Body Shop for high quality and timely service on body work, reconditioning details and accessory installations such as tint & vinyl. The Body Shop Manager will also be responsible for co-ordinating closely with the Service department for retail & commercial opportunities that become available from the reciprocal relationship between the departments.
Suitable candidates will be responsible for preparing and presenting annual business plans and adapting to opportunities throughout the year to maximize growth/profitability. All candidates must be computer literate, possessing experience with Excel, Word & Power Point, are capable of understanding general financial documents and have the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software applications.
