Covenant Living is a private, not-for-profit organization that offers community-based independent living options to seniors, promoting their health and wellness. This dynamic, growing organization currently has two retirement living facilities, Martha's House in Lethbridge and Evanston Summit in Calgary.
Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the Senior Team, the Administrative Assistant is a self-motivated individual provinding a variety of general administrative and clerical services in support of the Covenant Care and Covenant Living Executive Team. The incumbent will be required to take direction and work intuitively to support the organization's goals and objectives in a professional manner.
Key responsibilities include:
Administrative assistance and clerical services
Assisting in updating company Internal and External Websites
Help communicate company wide upddates.
Work with Accounts Payable to ensure timely payment of invoices
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Grade 12 required
Certificate in Secretarial / Administration preferred
2-3 years of secretarial / administrative assistant experience required, 5 years of related experience in a healthcare environment preferred
Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Wordpress and/or other desktop publishing programs
Ability to set priorities, be self motivated, and work under pressure
Ability to work with limited supervision and show initiative in organizing work environment.
Execptional organizational, interpersonal, problem solving, time management, and commuication skills
