Job Responsibilities

Using a programmer mindset, you will defend customer service and end-user experience by managing production incidents. Collaborate with teammates to isolate root-cause of issues and provide quick remediation. Enhance applications or alert monitors to improve or prevent issues.

This is an intermediate to senior role serving the production support team. Responsibilities include Triaging support incidents, Root Cause determination, expedited remediation for breaks impacting the business, and Problem Management (implementing solutions to prevent re-occurrence). The candidate is expected to give guidance to intermediate and junior developers. Dual role as a Scrum Master and technical Product Owner. They must coordinator between multiple departments where control exists outside the department, such as FTP, Control M, Database, and Network. The candidate is expected use ITSM processes and Service Now, as well as Developer tools and skills (Azure DevOps, GIT, Asp.Net, other).

Job Duties

Apply programming and problem-solving skills to Incident Management, Problem Management, and Preventive Maintenance
Must be able to work On Call shifts
Troubleshoot and recover from incidents by finding the shortest path to resolution
Respond to system alerts including file move, FTP, disk space, website availability,

batch execution, SQL or connection faults

Investigate application crashes to assess and remediate data corruption
Solve or improve orchestration issues such as job schedulers, file move or FTP
Interpret application behavior through examination of code and configuration
Recommend, develop and test application changes to prevent or improve support


Read and write application documents and wikis
Run emergency changes to deploy urgent application hotfix
Contribute and collaborate between developers, system administrators, users and

business stake holders

Skills and Experience


Visual Studio, .Net, C#, Asp.Net Webforms, SQL Server
Logical thinking and Problem Solving
Time management skills, ability to manage changing priorities
College, university, or demonstrable experience in application coding and testing
Excellent reading and writing skills
Effective communication through voice, email, and messaging tools like Skype
Willing to learn different skills, and work in different languages and tools
Eagerness to learn our system and aspire to become an SME
