Key Areas of Responsibility
We are looking for creative and passionate individuals who want to expand their knowledge and experience with ServiceNow and grow with us. This role is to provide technical pre-sales to support the practice and sales organization on closing net new and existing solution and services opportunities.
The role will require an individual with strong organizational skills, time management and experience delivering discovery and requirements workshops, proof of concepts and engaging software demonstrations. Experience with one or more of the ITSM, CSM, ITBM, ITAM/SAM and ITOM technology suite from ServiceNow or similar platforms will be an asset. Reporting to the ESM practice, the individual will be the main technical liaison between the Fully Managed’s sales department and prospective customers looking to leverage ServiceNow to help them select a solution to meet their business requirements and address their key pain points. The successful applicant will prepare Sales Proposals and Scope of Work documents working in partnership with technical leads which captures the specific configuration needs and requirements of the prospect.
Key areas of responsibility are (but not limited to):
Configure and maintain live demonstration environment of GrandCentral (ServiceNow-as-a-Service) as well as ServiceNow;
Working closely with the Sales team to ensure understanding and positioning of solutions;
Collaborate with Sales Team to tailor value messaging to address identified pains, needs and use cases of prospect;
Join sales team on meetings with customers, both existing and new to help provide solution assistance for sales engagements;
Create and manage Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements with prospects;
Proactively follow-up with Sales Team and/or prospect with request for additional information or clarifications on technical aspects of our proposed solution(s);
Accurately define all known prospect requirements into Fully Managed’s Statement of Work through collaboration with Sales team, Delivery Leads and prospect;
Proactively teaming with the sales and technical teams on the management of overall client relationships and sales of additional products and services to clients;
Schedule and host recurring Sales Team training, Q&A and industry relevant discussions;
Manage high level expectations and earn trust and respect of all stakeholders to become their trusted advisor;
Demonstrate awareness of industry trends, developments and leading-edge technologies that promote achievement of organizational objectives and present senior management with evaluations and recommendations regarding the effective application of IT industry trends; and
Other duties as required.
Skill & Knowledge Requirements
We're flexible but these are a must:
3+ years experience implementing ITSM/ESM solutions
3+ years experience in a pre-sales capacity conducting customer discovery sessions, product demonstrations, technical proof of concepts, business value assessments, estimating, proposal writing
ITIL Certification and working knowledge of Service Management best practices
Excels in oral and written communications including developing presentations, talking points and speaking and presenting to audiences with comfort and authority
Up to date on current trends and emerging technology developments and quickly develop deep knowledge in and act as an authority for clients on products, implementation process, and solutions related to ServiceNow
Self-motivated and results oriented
Ability to work under tight deadlines; multi-tasking abilities
Technical sales experience
Experience in a multi-tenant hosting environment
Certifications from software hardware vendors, ideally from ServiceNow
