Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.
The Indirect Adjudication Centre is responsible for the adjudication (including completing the necessary due diligence and compliance processes) of all Mortgage Sales Force originated mortgages in Ontario with occasional assistance for Eastern and Western Canada.
Rotating Shifts Mon-Fri 8am-8pm Sat 8-4pm
Shift could be 8 to 4 or 9 to 5 or 12 to 8 and Saturday 8 am to 4pm.
1 late shift possibly 2 per week and rotation is 1 in 4. Subject to change.
What you will achieve in this role:
Work in a team of underwriters and credit assistants providing credit adjudication services to the Mortgage Sales Force.
The role of the Credit Assistant is to review mortgage documentation for compliance to policy (real estate appraisals, proof of income, down payment, etc.)
Maintain strong and positive working relationships with Mortgage Sales Force reps to allow for effective follow-up of documentation required to complete mortgage files.
Provide telephone and e-mail service.
Administrative tasks must be completed in accordance with established bank procedures and processes to ensure compliance.
The incumbent will provide prompt and thorough resolution of processing issues.
What you will bring to this role:
Strong oral and written communication skills coupled with excellent customer service skills are essential.
Consumer Mortgage experience
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail are critical in this role
Nice to have: Bilingual English/ French or Bilingual Chinese/English
