Planning, organizing, and controlling overall Production / Material Planning & Scheduling function and Customer Service function while undertaking the same in own capacity, and to ensure that all Customers’ requirements / releases are shipped on time with compliant shipping documentation.

Ensure improving Company’s standing with the Customers for favorable Customer Perception / Scorecards by ensuring the relevant milestones are exceeded.

Capability to efficiently work through the ERP system - preferably with CMS

Sufficient experience and knowledge to plan production requirements based on customers' demand.

Working with Engineering, Planning, Production Shop-Floor, Customer Service, Quality, Tool-Shop and other departments for Finished Product realization and management of inventories, schedules, and launching new products.

Performing weekly analysis on the customer releases and undertake production planning & material ordering.

Ensure meeting Customer releases on timely basis.

Responsible for analyzing and planning the inventories, production and Issuing work orders to the Production Shop Floor for maintaining approved inventory levels.

Responsible for managing, maintaining and adjusting inventory requirements.

Coordinating with Production team to track production status. Ensure timely product delivery with appropriate actions as necessary.

Having sufficient experience and to manage outside processing vendors, handling their material flow to meet production / customer requirement.

Schedule raw material with suppliers, including through EDI

Able to work in a team environment.

Overseeing Shipping & Receiving along with Material Handling.

Other responsibilities and duties, as assigned.

To qualify as a successful candidate, you will have:

Post-Secondary education.

7+ years of production / materials planning and purchasing experience- direct experience within automotive manufacturing.

Experience in a stamping environment would be an asset.

Strong computer skills Excel (Pivot tables, Macro, V-Lookup, Graphs, etc.), Word, PowerPoint.

Strong organizational skills and detail oriented

Ability to work in a fast paced & changing automotive environment.

CPIM / SCMP certification is considered an asset.
