GENESIS ROBOTICS - Test Equipment Lead

Genesis is seeking an enthusiastic engineering leader to support our product testing function. In your role you will work with a diverse engineering team, support the development of test plans and procedures, and support the identification and utilization of testing services and vendors. This position is a combination of hands-on management of testing activities and management of a test facility.

Provide functional leadership for a team of test engineers and technologists
Collaboration with the broader product engineering team and program management team in the definition and prioritization of test parameters
Oversee planning, acquisition and installation of equipment needed to successfully execute both short-term and long-term testing objectives
Lead standardization within the testing group where appropriate
Interface with Test Operations function regularly to ensure test activities are executed to plan


Bachelor's Degree in engineering
15+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years’ of leadership experience in a test engineering environment
5+ years’ experience testing hardware (e.g. motors and gearboxes) in a serial, high-volume production environment (excluding experience testing software and electronics components)


Master's Degree in Engineering
Preference will be given to candidates with specific experience testing motors and/or gears
Good balance of conceptual and practical knowledge in an industrial, testing, or R&D environment
