The Cloud Administrator is responsible for providing day-to-day administration, including monitoring and maintenance, and technical support of IT infrastructure systems, hardware and software. 2nd level support is an important aspect of this position ensuring quality service delivery and technical expertise for our Managed Services and Cloud clients. The Cloud Administrator will also support the Cloud Services Architects in projects that improve the availability, efficiency, scalability, performance and management of the Cloud and Managed infrastructure.


Level 2 escalation point for issues impacting managed services clients or ITW cloud infrastructure, pre-sales and projects
Administration and configuration of server operating systems not limited to Windows 2008/2012/2016, VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, Linux
Administration and configuration of storage technologies
Administration and configuration of Data Protection and Disaster Recovery technologies
Virtual server and storage provisioning
Data centre racking, cabling and management
System installation, patching and upgrades
Review the health and capacity of the Cloud, Data Centre and Managed Client infrastructure on a scheduled basis. Adhere to IT Weapons reporting standards
Participate in IT Weapons training and recommended certification paths
Strive to understand and improve IT Weapons Design and Build standards
Be available to assist your team members 24/7 participate in on call based on rotating team schedule
Engages or leverages other subject matter expert (SME) groups or areas of the organization when appropriate.
Drives toward solutions that support automation and self-service.
Collaboration with various functional areas of the organization, uncovering systemic issues or areas of optimization and developing comprehensive solutions to address them.
Keeping current on new products and advancements in their area of expertise
Qualifications & Skills

College Diploma or equivalent
5+ years of experience implementing and administering virtual infrastructure including networking and storage
3+ years of experience implementing and administering Data Protection and Disaster Recovery technologies
Knowledge of server operating systems such as Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, Linux
Understanding of storage and network concepts (SAN, NAS, VLAN, WAN)
Understanding of public cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS
Server hardware installation and configuration
System management and troubleshooting experience
Cisco UCS and NetApp experience is an asset
Candidates must have a valid Canadian driver's license and 24/7 access to a vehicle
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly and meet deadlines
Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
