Easy Building Products, located in Hensall, Ontario, has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Permanent Outside Sales Representative.

Job Description:

  • Build trusting relationships through “best in class” sales support to both existing and prospective customers
  • Create and implement strategic sales and marketing activities to increase awareness of Easy Building Products and Services to customers
  • Travel within Southern Ontario to meet existing and prospective customers. Currently we are servicing most areas throughout Southern Ontario
  • Timely response to product questions, calculate and provide quotations and research product information to close new sales and to meet customer order requirements
  • Continually maintain contact with customers through telephone, email and face-to-face meetings. Manage customer concerns and questions with professionalism
  • Create and maintain accurate records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
  • Provide customer training on product uses, product quality, installation processes and new product offerings
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and goals
  • Monitor industry competitiveness, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer’s specific needs
  • Communicate effectively with management, sales and office staff with regards to customer orders and follow-up
  • Follow established production order processes to ensure customer orders are manufactured accurately and within production and shipping schedules
  • Attend tradeshows and other events when necessary (within southwestern Ontario)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of arts degree or diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant program
  • 3+ Years of prior experience in Sales, preferably within building products or construction industry
  • Must have a valid Driver’s license
  • Physically able to lift (up to 50lbs), use a ladder and work at heights
  • Solid computer skills, including Quoting Software and Microsoft Applications
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage priorities and workflow
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada, without sponsorship now or in the future

Shift:

  • Monday to Friday; 8am to 5pm with some evening and weekend travel possible
