We are looking for an Operations Specialist to join our Market Operations Team in Toronto. In this role, reporting into the Market Operations Manager, you will work on a variety of compelling, diverse problems and solutions in order to create the best experience possible for drivers and riders in Toronto.
Our ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and project management skills, coupled with an ability to work in fast paced environments and wear multiple hats. One day you might be helping to develop a strategy to improve the driver experience at local airports and the next, you may be hosting a driver event on the ground. Support the Ontario market by serving as a project owner to create local impact
Help plan, launch and support new projects for the Toronto market
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, compliance and others to achieve lofty goals
Provide analytical approaches to research and combining feedback into operational plans
Have a make-it-happen mentality, no one can be counted on to accomplish faster or better than you
Ideally 2-3+ years in business operations, non-profits, startups, strategy or a similar dynamic environment
Have a healthy balance of analytical, project management and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in spreadsheets
Strong business acumen and communication skills
Strong problem solving abilities, can creatively and quickly solve complex issues
Strong sense of self direction, able to juggle multiple competing workflows with ease and know when to ask for support, all with a seize-the-day attitude
Team player mentality, positive, optimistic, and willing to help out wherever needed
Not required, but nice to have SQL skills or an overall desire to learn!
