Job Summary

Account Executive Responsibilities: (Including, but not limited to)

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets of partnership and ticket sales
  • Research, prospect and establish leads for premium, season, group and single game tickets and group experiences
  • Research, prospect and establish leads for corporate partnership assets
  • Develop and monitor departmental goals for sales team
  • Act as the primary contact for season ticket holders
  • Work closely with the Manager of Partnerships and Sales to ensure contractual ticket fulfillment with an emphasis towards maximizing cross promotional opportunities
  • Prepare weekly sales reports
  • Work game days and special events to maximize new sales opportunities
  • Manage multiple accounts, developing positive working relationships with all customer/fan touch points
  • Drive fan retention, renewals, upsells and fan satisfaction
  • Liaise with Manager of Partnerships and Sales to ensure the build of all team-related ticket and partnership offerings
  • Oversee implementation and fulfillment of all team ticket requests
  • Prepare campaign insights reporting, including analysis and research, with a purpose to develop future leads
  • Provide input on new processes and workflows as needed
  • Focus on ensuring the maintenance of superior customer/fan service levels
  • Meet and exceed all departmental sales goals
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager Partnerships and Sales

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management, Business, or equivalent experience
  • A Minimum of 2-3 years of professional sales experience.
  • Experience in professional sport is considered an asset
  • 1 year of management experience in a sales capacity
  • Existing experience with ticketing software(s) will be considered an asset
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications

Required Skills:

  • Possess superior negotiation skills coupled with a net profit bottom line mentality
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and objectives
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Knowledge of the sport of basketball is an asset
  • Strong customer service skills via phone, email and face-to-face


  • Some evening and weekend work will be required as well as all Niagara River Lions home games which will extend outside of traditional working hours
