Program Coordinator

3-Year Full-time (35 hours/week) Term Position
Doctors Manitoba is looking for an experienced Program Coordinator to lead a three-year pilot project focusing on Physician Health and Wellness in 3 communities in Manitoba (Northern Regional Health Authority, Prairie Mountain Health Authority and Interlake-Eastern Health Authority). The successful candidate will undertake a variety of administrative, program development and management tasks.
To be an excellent program coordinator, you must be organized and detail-oriented, and comfortable working with diverse teams. If you have further skills in program development, evaluation and facilitation, we’d like to meet you.

Program Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Planning and coordination of a 3-year pilot program and its activities
  • Knowledge and experience with program management and development of policies, procedures and processes
  • Development and facilitation of educational materials
  • Evaluating program effectiveness to develop improved methods; contributes to the development of evaluation methodology
  • Maintaining budget and tracking expenditures/transactions


  • Proven experience as program coordinator or relevant position (3-5 years of experience)
  • Knowledge and experience with program management and development procedures/processes
  • Knowledge and experience utilizing adult education principles
  • Knowledge and experience with budgeting and reporting
  • Tech savvy, proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to work with diverse multi-disciplinary teams
  • Post-secondary degree in relevant field
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, organization, attention to detail, leadership, clear spoken and written communication, active listening, social grace
  • Knowledge of workplace psychological health and safety standards, physician health and wellness, and organizational change
  • Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license

Work Environment
In-office day-time and evening hours in Winnipeg with travel required to Northern Regional Health Authority, Prairie Mountain Health Authority and Interlake-Eastern Health Authority 3-5 times per year per community.
