What You'll Do:
Work closely with the design and marketing teams to build websites that look beautiful on any screen, feel performant, and are accessible to everyone
Develop clean, intuitive, and flexible user interfaces for unique web and mobile applications
Build tools and services to help internal teams solve interesting problems, automate tasks, and visualize data
Stay current on design trends, cutting-edge web technologies, and standards
Work closely with product management, design, manufacturing, and other teams to take products from concept to release

Main Objectives:
Within 15 days you will:
Be assigned to a project team and start attending their scrum meetings.
Make minor code changes and simple bug fixes to gain familiarity with the development process.
Be granted access to Zeplin and other collaborative tools and begin looking at and commenting on upcoming website designs.

Within 30 days you will:
Contribute to code reviews and planning sessions.
Collaborate with the design team and participate in design review sessions.
Implement a new page on our website and present it to your team for peer review.

Within 60 days you will:
Assist in evolving our technical and design standards and contribute to our internal front-end libraries.
Work closely with the design and UX teams to bring more web pages to life.
Take technical ownership of larger portions of our website.

What You'll Need:
Strong development skills in modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Familiarity with React
Experience working with REST APIs
A high bar for code quality and performance
Experience planning and estimating software development tasks in an agile environment
Broad understanding of the design and architecture of modern web applications
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
An eagerness to step outside your comfort zone and experiment with new languages, tools, and frameworks
Degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent (in lieu of degree, minimum of four years of relevant work experience)

CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS, etc.)
Redux, Flux or related state architecture libraries/frameworks
Server deployment/configuration (Node, SSL, Express)
