We are a committed, compassionate and progressive multi-disciplinary clinic working in health care with children and families. Our clinic is located in the Royal City Centre Mall in New Westminster. We are looking for a receptionist/administrative assistant to complement our dynamic team. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 3-years experience with basic administrative/reception duties, and the ability to assist all professionals (pediatricians, psychologists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists) in the clinic.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Accurate typing and data entry
  • Ability to think on your feet, our priorities can change quickly
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Team player
  • Excellent organizational & multitasking abilities
  • Ability to organize, prioritize & work under pressure

General duties will include (but are not limited to)

  • Answering incoming calls
  • Calling new patients to schedule appointments
  • Filing; Incoming/Outgoing mail (daily)
  • All duties related to pediatrician and developmental pediatrician when they are in the office
  • Computer Scoring of Test Protocols
  • Assisting the office administrator in all aspects of the office
  • Preparing letters confirming details of appointment schedules
  • Preparing individual templates for team reports

Starting date: ASAP

Starting rate: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour (depending on experience with an increase following probationary period )
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
