Wentworth Manor is looking for the next great addition to our team! The Program Manager – Long Term Care is responsible for the coordination and monitoring of clinical nursing functions on our Long Term Care nursing units.
Some of the primary responsibilities include Audit staff performance and implement interventions as required, Case Management of resident care assessments, Care Plans and End of Life Care, Act as a clinical resource for the Registered Nurses and other nursing staff, Participate in Resident Care Conferences and Multidisciplinary Care Plan Review meetings as appropriate and follow up with Professional Nurses on any issues, Maintain resident occupancy through Pathways system, Utilize management systems data to plan, monitor and evaluate resident care, Maintain performance criteria, measures and standards to assist in the evaluation of care programs, employee performance appraisals, staff disciplinary action, hiring of nursing staff and nursing staff orientation and Provide direction and support to/coach and mentor other team member.
This is a permanent full-time position. The hours of work are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM for 40 hours per week. The starting wage is $40.89 per hour, and extended health and dental benefits will be available after three months of employment. Portability will be accepted and acknowledged.
