Villa De Rose is seeking an enthusiastic, self motivated General Manager with a passion for serving older adults. Under the direction of the Regional Director, the General Manager is responsible for all aspects of the operations of the home in accordance with corporate mission and philosophies.
Diploma/certificate or degree in Nursing, Gerontology, Hospitality, Marketing or Business.
Minimum 3 years management experience in the Retirement Home sector or equivalent .
Knowledge of the Retirement Homes Act
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent leadership and management skills
Experience in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Health and Safety, Marketing and Finance
Vulnerable Sector Police Screening
