Manager, Global Technology Strategy & Execution
Manulife is looking for a Manager to join the Global Technology Strategy & Execution team. The incumbent brings analytical thinking and a desire to learn & enable the execution of how technology at is enabling the transformation at Manulife. The position is well suited for someone who enjoys change, adapts quickly and able to navigate independently through complex processes. The position will be in the Toronto office.

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Global Technology Strategy Execution, part of the Global Technology team, you’ll join a nimble team of dedicated, engaged and high performing professionals focused on working together, challenging the status quo and owning our future. This role will support the delivery of Global Technology’s strategy objectives and will be a key member team of the Global Technology Strategy & Execution team.

On a day to day basis you will be involved in the following:
Supporting the execution of the Global Technology strategy through providing transparency into progress on strategic objectives, metrics and risk
Support on broad range of key technology business management initiatives
Ownership on KPIs and Metrics: Work with cross functional teams to operationalize & maintain comprehensive set of strategic & operations KPIs and metrics used to measure the success of our transformation
Liaise with cross functional and global teams on key strategic initiatives driving transformation at Manulife
Development of key reports and Point-of-View’s on strategic technology trends across the organization and beyond
Data Stewardship: ensure the responsibility of the data stewardship for the Strategy and execution team
Develop and maintain dashboards on an as required basis

You are someone who is/has:
A degree or diploma in business, finance, accounting, engineering or related field
3-5 years of previous experience in consulting, finance, internal strategy, technology delivery or other client facing roles
A team first attitude
A proven interest in technology and innovation
Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment
Comfortable with interacting with executive clients and presenting to various groups
Quick learner with creative problem-solving skills
Strong project management skills
High level of proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Excel (required) and PowerBI (considered an asset)
An interest in assisting with administrative and reporting tasks is an asset
