As a Specialist of Health Education Accreditation, you will have the opportunity to work on a dynamic team responsible for the operations of an accreditation program for a group of clients that offer health professional education curriculums in educational institutions such as community colleges, cégeps, polytechnics, career colleges and universities. This role is responsible for supporting clients as they work towards achieving their accreditation goals. The Specialist will also act a resource for our teams of surveyors.

Let’s break it down. Your responsibilities include:
Building authentic and enduring relationships with staff, clients (educational institutions), partners and volunteers; rallying them to contribute to your goals and success.
Channeling our efforts and organizing our undertakings. You will bring your expertise and project management skills to survey planning and other delegated duties.
Traveling and being the face of the accreditation process, from orienting new clients, to assisting them along the way to their accreditation. You’re their go to person when responding to inquiries.
Staying on top of emerging trends, deepening corporate knowledge of education accreditation.

Always keeping the patient in mind. Accreditation supports Educational Programs in their goal of preparing graduates to provide safe and high-quality care to patients. Providing sound guidance and being proactive in coaching educational programs is essential.
Being a flexible team player, at times, you’ll take off your client services hat and switch gears to support the team wherever it is needed most.
Have the flexibility to work weekend or night hours to meet deliverables and for travel time.
You have a unique history. Does it include the education and experience listed below?
University degree and/or Health professional credential, or equivalent experience, in a related field, such as Education, Administration, or Healthcare.
4+ years of progressive and varied experience within the field of healthcare or education.
Excellent English and French communication skills. This includes writing clear, concise and accurate reports in both languages. Additional languages are a definite asset.
Knowledge of quality improvement and implementation science.
Tried and tested analytical and critical thinking skills.

Have a Master's in Education or similar study.
Have knowledge and experience in health sciences and/or assessments methodologies.
