GSBU/FRM/AME is the department in charge of Risk, Referential and Finance Technology, serving the needs of Accounting and Finance (DFIN), Risk Management (RISQ) and Global Markets (MARK) departments in the AMER region. The department is comprised of developers, business analysts and project managers working on applications dedicated to the pre-accounting, repository, accounting, regulatory reporting, PnL calculation, VaR calculation, static data management, risk analyses, and credit risk reporting. More specifically, the position will be in the GBSU/FRM/APR/AME (Accounting and Finance) group, responsible for the pre-accounting, accounting, repository, reconciliation and regulatory reporting applications.

Primary tasks include but are not limited to:
Managing each initiative given by management from start to end, meaning:
Work with users and other business analysts to understand user needs and translate requirements into systems
Write functional specifications
Estimate effort and ensure timely delivery
Propose IT solution / implement the requirements accordingly and/or coordinate with developers
Ensure agile and continuous delivery methodology is followed
Ensure code is well tested
Coordinate and perform UT, SIT / UAT phases and present test results to users
Ensure that release management / change management processes are followed
Assist the support team in the rollout of releases
Be responsible for 3rd level of support
Give clear and consistent reports to the project manager, clients and management
Assess risks and develop contingent strategies
Collaborate with other teams (networking, systems, quality insurance, support, architects, others development teams, …).
Rely on IT best practices to improve quality of development
Participate as a motivated, proactive and highly contributing member of the project team
Manage several streams of work concurrently
Follow up on release and production process

Profile Required

Competencies Required:
Good written & verbal communication skills
Proven expertise as business analyst in Accounting and Regulatory system within Capital Markets domain
Advanced skills in interfacing with business clients (mostly in accounting, finance and regulatory domains) to comprehend and document business requirements and their priority as well as develop technical or user process solutions.
Advanced skills in interfacing with teams of developers, solid familiarity with major SDLC approaches (accent on Agile methods family).
Excellent communication and written skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments and projects.
Ability to coordinate and facilitate project execution and delivery commitment with other teams under different operational time zones.
Rigorous, dynamic, detail oriented, fast learning capacity and able to work in a high-pressure environment.
Proactive on taking leadership when needed, self-motivated, dynamic and result oriented

Desired/ Plus:
Experience in financial products / financial industry business processes

Technical Skills Required:
Skilled in SQL with capability to read stored procedures
Agile development team
TDD/BDD and its practical implementation
An understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery
Experienced with visual ETL tools

Desired/ Plus:
Test automation tools
Excel / VBA development
Ability to read C#
Object development algorithm

Prior Work experience Required:
Previous significant experience as a business analyst in an investment banking environment (at least 5 years)
Work Closely with Finance and business Users
Work previously in an IT department and coordinated development implementation from end to end

Education Required:
BS degree in Computer Science/engineering, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
