KONE in Toronto is looking for a Sales and Business Development Specialist.
The purpose of this role is to perform tasks that help the salesperson spend more time with customers. This role supports sales in making tenders and orders, creating the order / contract / equipment in SAP and maintaining the customer data in our CRM and SAP. The Sales and Business Development Specialist can also perform other tasks under supervision of the sales person and sales manager.
In this role you will provide essential support to our sales team.
The Sales and Business Development Specialist:
Supports sales persons in back-office tasks (tenders, orders, documents, equipment – SAP and CRM) and customer inquiries
Maintains customer data and hierarchies in SAP + CRM as instructed by sales person or key account manager
Monitors the leads and new opportunities in CRM and assigns them to right person
Follows up the customer’s orders and invoice inquiries
Processing of orders for recurring services (e.g. annual equipment testing)
Provides reports and summaries for sales representatives and customers
Completes initial telephone calls to determine potential for sales leads
Clean up of customer contracts, both physical and digital files
Supports in organizing customer visits, tasks and events
Preparation of customer binders and marketing materials for tender submissions
Back-up for Operations Administration role when needed
Assists in general office tasks
Skills, Education and Experience :
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in sales, marketing or business administration. Equivalent experience may be substituted for degree
Advanced Microsoft Office literacy- Advance level Excel
Sharepoint / Microsoft 365 – an asset
CRM Salesforce – an asset
SAP - an asset
Contractual and financial understanding
Highly organized, able to multi-task, thrives in fast paced environment, quick to learn, adaptable
