Nesters Market is currently seeking Full Time Assistant Managers. These positions are based out of our locations in the Lower Mainland, and will report to the Store Manager.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Work within established policies and procedures for the Store regarding:
Inventory Invoicing StaffingOrdering Pricing TrainingReceiving Image Cleanliness
Support the manager in achieving budgeted sales, gross and wage cost levels.
Adhere to safety policies and regulations and serve on the store safety committee.
Support manager in areas of personal grooming & attitudes towards customer service.
Meet weekly with store manager and department heads to address concerns discuss upcoming ads, promotions, etc.
Support store participation in all promotions and special events.
To perform other duties and tasks assigned or required as consistent with the nature and scope of the position.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

Previous retail store experience at a management level.
Proven track record as a self-starter; dedicated and goal orientated.
Complete understanding of till operation and cash-up procedures.
Proven track record in store merchandising and driving sales.
Demonstrated high level of communication, interpersonal & conflict resolution skills.
Ability to ensure compliance of established company policy.
Demonstrated ability to provide 100% customer service.
Excellent command of the English language both verbal and written.
