We currently have an exciting opportunity within our operations for an
Quality Assurance Engineering Student - Winter 2020 Co-op (4 or 8 Month Term)
Enrolled in Engineering Degree (Chem Eng preferred; others may be considered)
Strong computer skills and statistical analysis (MS Office, Minitab)
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement tools
Excellent attention to detail
Meet or exceed strict deadlines
Ability to analyze and communicate information effectively and accurately
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently
Lead and participate in product quality improvement initiatives/projects
Assist in the preparation and execution of product trial runs (paper, packaging, etc.)
Lead or participate in the development of trial products and studies (ie. feasibility, etc.)
Facilitate or lead quality improvement events with employees and/or quality teams
Conduct product testing and data analysis
Analyze data related to quality checks, quality parameters, and corrective action plans
Liase with corporate technical regarding new products and upcoming trials, etc.
Other duties as assigned
