Reporting into the VP, Customer Service & Operations, the Manager, Network Operations role has overall accountability for the 24/7/365, globally distributed mission critical, Network Infrastructure operations including design, plan, deployment and support functions; You are an IT professional with strong character who has a services-oriented approach driven to create, communicate your vision and strategy and you can lead with authority and assertiveness while being collaborative and highly approachable with cross functional teams. You are an advocate and educator relating to IT policies and procedures and you can perform on a strategic and transformational level with the company’s leadership team. The position is responsible for understanding the business, assisting in the prioritization of projects, ensuring that projects align with the technology that provides maximum return on investment, and directing IT strategy in support of the overall business strategy.

Your role will involve:
Lead the planning, design, development, implementation, operation and support of network systems. Establish and implement a network strategy driving maximum business value by managing the Networking environment (wired and wireless) to ensure network capacity meets existing and future requirements by continuous monitoring of industry trends and evolving technologies and aligning them to business objectives.
Develop LAN/WAN, Wireless technology deployment plans for on prem and cloud environments to ensure that technology portfolios are expanded, upgraded and enhanced leveraging leading edge technologies like spanning network, converged infrastructure and hybrid cloud
Define Critical Success Factors and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for processes and drive the reporting associated with them consistently across the organization to identify trends, anticipate problems to ensure a best in class level of support and service.
Establish Service Level Agreements and Operational Level Agreements; and monitor, improve, and report performance on these and other key performance indicators
Responsible for managing various service providers and third-party ISPs to ensure service providers deliver contracted services. Work with Procurement and Legal for renegotiating contracts including but not limited to leased lines and cellular services.

Communicate with the leadership team on the status of improvement projects and the required support needed for successful deployment and implementation. Use effective influence strategies and develop mutually beneficial partnerships, both inside and outside the organization.


We would like it if you have the below qualifications, knowledge and experiences:

10+ years data center/WAN/LAN/telecommunication administration and network operations management with B. Tech./B.E. degree in Electronics & Telecomm or Computer Science with a minimum of 5 years of management experience.
Minimum 5 years’ experience with Cisco platforms and associated certifications such as CCNP Enterprise or CCIE with proven ability configuring, optimizing, managing and implementing LAN/WAN protocols including MPLS, VPLS, OSPF and BGP
5+ years of relevant technical experience in network design, implementation of LAN and WAN solutions and managing large scale, mission critical enterprise heterogeneous network infrastructure.
Experience managing Hybrid Cloud and public cloud providers AWS, GCP or Azure, data replication between Data Centers and Disaster Recovery
Experience with the definition, training, implementation, continuous improvement, and ongoing mentorship of Networking best practices
ITIL, CCIE, CCNP, CCENT and CCNA Routing and Switching, CCNA Cloud, CCNA Wireless, CCNP, CCDP certifications a plus.

Education and Skills:
University degree or equivalent preferably in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or similar.
Proven leader who combines technical expertise with well-developed business acumen, strong analytic and problem-solving skills leading to effective decision making that enables process improvements
Hands on experience managing large, transformational projects and leading organizational change management initiatives
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations
Ability to deliver quantitative metrics of the environment to help with planning and execution of service delivery.
Proven experience with strategic sourcing including contract negotiations, metrics reporting, and overall partnership cultivation
A history of involvement in leading and driving innovative capabilities and continuous improvement spanning network, converged infrastructure and cloud
Excellent interpersonal skills: stakeholder engagement, verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information and ability to work successfully with teams across the organization, including Engineering, Program Management, Operations, and Senior Leadership.
