What is the opportunity?
We are looking for an experienced Senior Information Security Analyst to join our fast growing team to help us support cutting-edge identity and access management services and tools, specifically the enterprise-wide Access Manager tool. . The ideal candidate is passionate about authentication, security, and has in depth operational experience supporting users of large scale enterprise systems. Success in this role requires direct experience in internal client support, directory services, federation, identity management, and security. In this role, you will support an enterprise wide service and the internal clients who use that service, at all levels of management.
You will provide information security and some technical expertise, analysis and risk management best practices to ensure Privileged Access Management tasks are complaint with RBC standards within our global environment. This may include handling security events, incidents, requests and escalations. This role partners with risk & security leadership and technical groups to provide information security expertise, mentorship and advisory support.
What will you do?
For the Access Manager tool, provide Operational Support to internal clients across the enterprise at all levels of management for access reviews and access request provisioning
Determine incident severity and escalate issues accordingly.
Respond to and remediate incidents as required; escalating when appropriate
Accountable for consultation and issue resolution as first point of inquiry/escalation and problem resolution for privileged provisioning/procurement activities.
Identification & documentation of escalations/gaps/trends to reduce problem re-occurrences
Work with members of the team to drive solutions to open problems
Perform QA testing on behalf of Operations for production releases
Identify and Report security risks in accordance to our RBC Standards
Oversee enforcement of access review completions
Provide key access reports and statistics to management and audit in support of RBC access reviews
Support production testing, tracking and change implementation to ensure key tools are not affected with service partners
Assist senior management with annual reviews of assignment information in support of RBC’s policy requirement
Assist and track management in review of powerful privilege reviews within Enterprise Access Management
Escalate, track and report on issues raised to completion
Hands on day to day operational review involvement
Consult and triage RBC management’s requirements with their access reviews
Provide guidance and input to IAM program on key management issues to ensure they are raised and tracked.
What do you need to succeed?
3-5 years work and/or education in IT security or a related field
Experience with provisioning and access management
Broad knowledge of the IAM domain.
Strong technical understanding in a variety of hardware and software platforms.
Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills
Intermediate understanding of ITIL process concepts
Strong Knowledge of Information Security trends and best practices
Sail Point: IdentityIQ (IIQ) experience
Intermediate Access Manager Tool
Intermediate Excel Skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, basic macros, etc.);
Professional certifications, e. g. CISSP.
IT standards, methodologies, CMM & audit requirements.
