MAINTENANCE PLANNER - SKY
Reporting to the Facility Maintenance Manager, this Maintenance Planner role will work closely with our facility teams to gather requirements and produce maintenance schedules to support our operations. This role will appeal to an outstanding problem solver who excels at creating complex modelling and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Support of the CMMS system, including working with site Maintenance and Facilities teams to develop, maintain and periodically review the preventative maintenance activities.
Partner with facility leaders to develop and manage various KPI’s and scorecards for site operations. Responsible for production of monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc account reporting. Reports include manpower utilization, work order activity, scheduled maintenance, service level compliance, labor reporting, project reporting, financial reporting, incident reporting and training. Develop and maintain network performance dashboard.
Provide requester, user, and supervisor training, including new feature training to staff as required. Serve as technical support on CMMS issues for network.
Manage migration, implementation and the organization of asset data on a common platform for all Aurora business units, including possible transition from multiple databases and accounts into a harmonized system with an enterprise account.
Utilize CMMS to manage assets including cost of ownership, warranty expirations, long range replacement planning, and other critical asset management functions.
Partner with IT, Purchasing and other departments to integrate CMMS system with other critical systems such as Enterprise or Purchasing software.
Perform advanced determination of labor resources needed and time required to complete each job, which aids the Maintenance Supervisor in measuring the performance of his/her personnel.
Allow for elimination of delays due to waiting for information, materials, equipment, other skills, appropriate tools, etc.
Be the Single Point of Contact as a central source of information concerning maintenance work, equipment, and equipment repair.
Allocate and provide special tools and/or equipment requirements.
Allow for advanced determination of the number of labor resources needed in a given area or location for the planned work orders.
Reduce the number of job interruptions once work is started.
Establish job goals for the work force.
Apply specialized ability to the planning and scheduling of shutdowns.
Optimize maintenance schedules including coordination of work orders and assumed timeframes to sufficiently ensure minimal impact on product availability within several distinct markets.
Communicate expected availability and real-time delays to stakeholders while providing mitigation recommendations.
Define and determine trends, proceed with all required planning analysis to identify any issues.
Consult with functional teams such as supply planning, sales, production planning and procurement to obtain relevant data and insights on demand.
Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of Experience working with ERP and CMMS systems.
Broad knowledge of DIMO, SAP or MAXIMO software. Preference is for experience with DIMO.
Excellent understanding of a range of business intelligence concepts and common business functions and practices, including but not limited to:
maintenance management, inventory management, customer service, records management, policies and procedures, etc.
Demonstrates ability to quickly adapt while maintaining focus and execute a high degree of accuracy when working with complex data in an environment of ever-changing deadlines, priorities and requirements.
Must be self-motivated and customer focused.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment on a multitude of projects.
Ability to think strategically, problem solve and make quick decisions.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (advanced skills).
Proficiency in database setup and management (Access).

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline is considered an asset. College or Technical Diplomas in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline will also be considered.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
