The responsibilities of the Operations Supervisor include:
Daily Supervision of field personnel including oversight; performance management; and maintaining work schedules and manpower to meet contract deliverables
Maintain, monitor, and adjust workflow to ensure consistency of service, efficiency, and productivity
Identify opportunities for improvement with service deliverables at the site level to support INTEGRA Technologies service directive
Provide initial and ongoing training to ensure continuous development and expertise of field resource personnel and meet job scheduling timelines and target completion dates
Ensure adequate tooling, equipment, and vehicles are available and properly maintained to perform field service activities
Ensure field quality records (e.g. calibration and safety records, daily time sheets, daily operations reports, etc.) are accurately maintained and field source sampling activities conform with industry standard protocols as defined by authorities having jurisdiction
Conduct routine site audits to ensure accuracy and quality, field performance and deliverables
Provide weekly reports on job progression, technician performance, including any technician or labour matters
Ensure ISO quality documentation for field related service equipment are maintained in accordance with manufacturers specifications and preventative maintenance schedules.
Act as the point of contact and liaison with customers to ensure their satisfaction and project needs are being met
Model and enforce a high standards of work ethic and responsibility with focus on safety conscious behaviors, ensuring health and safety standards are consistently met by all team members and iScout reports are generated in a timely manner
Ensure data quality record are maintained in accordance with NIST standards
Lead cultural and workplace development initiatives for the work team
The ideal candidate will have:
Post- secondary education in a related field or equivalent in experience
Experience in Project Management and proficiency in project scheduling and software (MS Project Manager a plus)
Experience with leak detection and related processes
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience leading successful teams through effective communication, leadership and mentoring
Competency with analytical FID and IR instruments, and ability to read and understand process flow diagrams
Emission database experience an asset
Experience with provincial and federal mandates for all sectors of oil and gas.
Ability to delegate and manage different skillsets and working styles
A strong commitment to providing a high level of customer service and ensuring quality results individually and as a team
Well-developed communication skills, including the ability to use a variety of techniques to effectively communicate with direct reports and others
A strong business acumen and the ability to review and revise procedures to ensure best practices
Experience writing progress reports and performing audits
Demonstrated success working in a face-paced, service-oriented environment which requires time-management and multitasking skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage conflict, resolve issues and develop successful relationships within the work team
Proficient in Microsoft Applications, (Excel/ Word a must) experience with SharePoint an asset management systems
Remain current on all technical training and industry standard safety certifications
